Nobody really knows what type of breed a pit bull is.  The American Pit Bull got its name by a British and Irish place.  UKC is United Kennel Club.  It is where you see what breed you want.  One type of Pit Bull came from Neopolitan.  They also came from Italy, Rome, and England. The twentieth century was where most Pit Bulls fit in.  Most people think Pit Bulls are very mean.  Most people are WRONG!  It's the dogs owner.

There are many different types of Pit Bulls.  One is a blue brindle.  The blue brindle looks gray, but has hints of blue in it.  They can also look like chocolate.  That is from breeding with a red nose breeding dog.  The colors can be tri-colored.  Another type is a Geroux-ruffaini pit bull.  There are all types of pit bulls in the world.  One is the Tacoma.  Their ears can be cropped or knot.  The neck is heavily slanted and arched.  The back is fairly short, and their shoulders are wide and sloping.  Their tails are short and not curled.  Their body has sprung ribs.  Their chests are deep and broad.  The height of females is 17-18 inches.  The height for males is 18-19 inches.  Choose the best pit bull for you.

The most important person in any dog's life for health is a vet.  If your dog is ill or sick, you should take your dog to the vet.  One of the major diseases is hip disease.  One thing you really need is a first aid kit, just in case of emergencies.  Pit bulls can also have allergies to grass.  They have all sorts of wipes and treats to get rid of allergies.  Pit bulls live to be about 12 years old.  All dogs should be very healthy and not ill.  

Breeding your dog can be very important.  But, remember you have to be ready to have a liter of puppies.  When you are ready to have your dog bred, make sure she is up to coat on her shots.  Once she has had her shots, you need to find a male dog to breed with her.  Make sure your dog is 15-18 months before you breed her.  If you want to breed the male, fees can run about $300-500.  To get ready for a liter, get a box with blankets for the puppies to be born.  When the puppies are with their mother, make sure not to bother them.  Make sure the mom is as comfortable as possible.  Also, make sure they are warm.  After 6-8 weeks, go to the vet and get shots for the puppies.  After that you may put them up for sale.  Make sure you are ready to have puppies before breeding!

When feeding your dog it is very different than feeding a puppy.  For puppies, you need to get the youngest brand of dog food.  It's most important that your puppy does not skip a meal.  That is because your puppy needs to gain weight and become healthy.  Your adult dog should have 2-4 meals daily.  With grooming your dog, you may do it yourself or have a groomer do it for you.  You should come your dog at least once or twice a week.  If you bathe your dog, make sure you don't get soap in their eyes or ears.  Make sure your dog gets groomed to smell and look good!

Exercise is very important for dogs.  There are many types of ways to keep your dog in shape. Walking, playing catch, and taking them to a dog park are great examples!  Your dog will have fun with any of these things you do to keep them in shape.  Also, you can enter your dog in a jumping contest!  With training your dog, you may train them in any way you want.  You need to work with your dog to train them well.  If your dog does something good, reward them with a treat and say Good Job.  Don't let your dog take control over you.  You are the owner.  But remember, the most important thing is to have fun with it!
