Physical description

Tabbies come in a vast range of different colors. The colors they come in are orange, chestnut, silver, brown, cameo, blue, red, cinnamon, ebony, fawn, and cream.

Grooming

For shorthair tabbies, you have to brush them once a week with a natural bristle brush and a fine-toothed comb. Longhair tabbies require more frequent grooming usually three to five times a week unless you have an outdoor cat. Tabbies really love to be brushed.

Tabby cats are very playful. They also like to sleep a lot. Tabbies are very cute when they are asleep. Tabbies also like to lay in the warm sun. Laying in the sun relaxes the tabbies. They are excellent hunters. They are quiet-footed cats. They stalk their prey and then they pounce on it. They love to chase anything that moves including, a ball rolling across the floor, a fish in a pond or in a fish tank. They love to chase rodents and then kill them. Some tabbies eat what they kill and then eat it in order to survive.

 

Personality

Tabbies are warm, friendly and fearless cats that enjoy the company of their owners. They are very affectionate and very clever, gentle and calm. They love lots of attention. They need a lot of affection to keep them happy. Tabbies love their owners very much. They are always with their owners all the time to make sure that nothing happens to their owners. Tabbies have a lot of love and devotion to their owners. Tabbies are very intelligent. Tabbies clean themselves off by licking themselves.
