Steve Young was born October 11, 1961 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He started
playing football in his community at age 11 and always loved the sport. He
went to Brigham Young College, and played for their football team. He was
drafted by Tampa Bay in 1984, as a 1st overall draft pick. He
was cut, and resigned by San Francisco 49’ers on May 3, 1991. |

Kurt Warner was born in Burlington, Iowa and went to the
University of Northern Iowa. While at college he worked stocking shelves
at Cedar Falls Hy-Vee food store. He went to Green Bay camp in 94’ and
was dismissed until signed by the Iowa Barnstormers (Arena Football
League) to start QB, left in 95’ and went to the Amsterdam Admirals
(Europe NFL). He was later drafted by the St. Louis Rams in 1999-2000
season as a backup QB. |

| Joe Montana was born in New Eagle, Pennsylvania in 1956. he grew up with no brothers, and practiced football on a daily basis with his dad in their back yard. He started playing organized football for his community at age 8 and wanted to quit at 10, and join Cub Scouts. But changed his mind after his dad made him stick the season out. As a teen, he was an All-American Football player, All-State basketball player, and a baseball star. He went to Notre Dame College, and was a third round draft pick in 1979 by the San Francisco 49’ers, and later on was traded to the Kansas City Chiefs. | ![]() |
