The Magnum is quite deadly especially when wielding two at the same time. Unfortunately this gun is not equipped with the scope we have all come a custom to in Halo: Combat Evolved, but it still has some amazing accuracy. The magnum holds 12 shots per magazine, and has a manual rate of fire. | |

The Battle Rifle is also new to
the Halo franchise replacing the Assault Rifle from Halo: Combat
Evolved. The Battle Rifle is extremely effective in long-range combat.
With its burst shot capability it allows this weapon to be accurate and
very lethal. Unfortunately it is less effective in close quarters combat.
It holds 36 shots per magazine. |

The Shotgun is one of the most lethal
weapons. It is mainly used in close quarters due to its low accuracy. This
is one of the best close quarters weapon in the game. It has a very fast
melee attack. Unfortunately it has an extremely slow reload time, due to
the fact that each shell needs loaded separately. It holds 12 shots per
magazine. |

The Sniper Rifle is the most
accurate weapon in the game. When you zoom in you can easily take down any
covenant, or any one of your friends that got you mad, with a headshot.
Unfortunately it has a low rate of fire and takes a long time to reload,
but hopefully you’ll be far enough away that it shouldn’t need to
worry. It holds 4 shots in each magazine

The rocket launcher can significantly lower the covenants population with one of its lethal blasts. Also with its new homing capability can stop any airborne enemy. Unfortunately it has a low rate of fire and slow reload time. It also only holds 2 shots so you have to reload often. | |

Grenades are great for clearing rooms. All you have to do is throw it and wait for the explosion. Grenades are great when you are waiting for your shield to recharge. you can be far enough away to not get hurt, but can still take out any near by enemies. |

The brute shot launches grenades that detonate on impact with any vehicle or soldier. When they hit inanimate objects though they will bounce before detonating. You can use this feature to flush hidden targets from cover. The Brute Shot also has a long blade for melee attacks. This weapon has a long range and is also good during close courtiers. The Brute Shot holds 4 grenades per magazine. | |

The Fuel Rod Cannon is a cumbersome and unwieldy weapon that, when equipped obscures your view. It fires an energy projectile on a detonating arc. Though it takes time to get accustomed to, it is a very powerful and deadly weapon. It is useful for bombarding enemy emplacements and vehicles. Like the rocket launcher it should be fired with care, because it is very easy to damage yourself with ill-considered close range shots or scenery. It holds 5 projectiles per magazine. | |

The Energy Sword is one
of the most powerful weapons in the game. With 1 of its deadly lunges it
can kill almost any enemy you come in contact with. The energy of this
weapon is limited in campaign mode. Every deadly hit will reduce its
energy by about 10%. After all of its energy is used the sword will
disintegrate. Fortunately though, it has unlimited power during
multiplayer. It has 100%. |

The Plasma Grenade is extremely deadly due to its adhesive properties. When it hits any wall or generic object it will fall to the ground, but if it hits biological creature or vehicle it will be irrevocably stuck until it explodes. When stuck to an enemy there is a chance they may panic and, ideally, run to its allies taking them with it. Unfortunately the same will happen to you if stuck. You are able to hold 4 grenades. |
