Mini Biography: Pierre Charles Bouvier was born on May 9, 1979. When he was 13, he founded Reset with his friend Chuck, and they were a modest success in Canada. They toured with MXPX, Ten Foot Pole, and Face to Face, and released a debut album, No Worries, in 1997. When Chuck left Reset (to attend college, and because he was apparently fighting with Pierre), Pierre stayed. Reset went on to make a second album, No Limits, but Pierre got tired of being both the lead singer and guitarist. When he met up with Chuck again at a Sugar Ray concert in late 1999, he was asked to join Chuck’s new band, and he agreed. The band, now a quartet, was not complete yet, though. Pierre decided he wanted to jump around on stage (which he certainly does), but he couldn’t play, sing, and hop around at the same time. So, David Desrosiers, who had replaced Pierre in Reset, was asked to join. The newly formed band named themselves Simple Plan, after a movie. Random facts about Pierre: -He can play both guitar and bass. -He used to work in a barbecue chicken restaurant. -Both he and David skateboard. -He and Chuck used to play piano.

To think he once couldn't jump around because he also had to play guitar. |

Like Jeff, Pierre hasn't changed much from when Simple Plan first started to now... look-wise, at least. |
