Dean		Picks Picks are used to play the guitar. You use picks to hit the strings on a guitar to make the string make noise. You can also use your fingers but a pick makes things easier I think. Picks have different shapes and sizes and thicknesses. Picks thicknesses are extra thin, thin, medium, heavy, and extra heavy.
		Amps Amps or Amplifiers are used to make the sound of a guitar louder and better. Amps can make the guitar sound cleaner, choppier, more distorted, amps can make guitars have delay, and it can give the guitar sound reverb which makes the sound echo. Amps also vary in size they can be as big as you can fit inside your house.
		Cases If you get a guitar you definitely need a case if you plan on taking it anywhere without hurting it. There are hard, soft hard cases, and gig bags. Hard cases protect the guitar the most but are the most expensive and heavy. Soft Hard cases give more protection than a gig bag but less than a hard case. Soft Hard cases are around the same price as hard cases but a little lower, about 60-65 dollars. Then there are gig bags. Gig bags are not nearly as protective as hard cases or soft hard cases. Gig bags are also extremely cheap.
		Pedals Pedals are a fun thing to have with your guitar and amp. They make your guitar sound even cooler. There are waa pedals that make the sounds of a guitar wavy when you step on it. There are also some other pedals.
