Styles
There are more styles for guitar than there is for bass. there are still some of the same styles for bass as there is for guitar. Some of the styles are a flying V, a mocking bird, Ice man, and a double neck. The guitar that would usually cost the most would be any double neck guitar. They put all different parts on guitars, to make them look better, but they would be the most expensive. |

Strings
There are six strings on a guitar. The ones that are on the top are the thickest and then when you go down they get thinner. The top strings, that are thicker have a lower pitch and the strings that are thinner have a higher pitch. It is easier to brake guitar strings than it is to brake bass strings because they are thinner. To brake a string you could pluck the string to hard or you could tighten it too much. |

Parts
on the Guitar
There are just about the same parts for guitar as there is for bass. There is a difference though. On most guitars you can have a whammy bar, which makes special effects on the guitar. It can screw in right where the bridge is. It is close to the end of the guitar. If you don't want it in you can just screw it off. Some other parts on the guitar are the knobs, the neck, the pickups, and the tuning pegs. |

Equipment
All the equipment for guitars are about the same for basses. Some of the equipment is a guitar, a chord, and an amp, a gig bag, a hard case, and strap locks. When you start the guitar, you would not have to go out and buy an amp because the guitar is loud enough without on. You can also get more equipment such as a strap if you want to play standing up. |
