Paul Stanley plays the rhythm guitar and vocals for KISS since the beginning. Paul Stanley was born Stanley Eisen on January 20, 1952. He has one sister Julia, who's 2 years older than him. He grew up in Manhattan and got into a lot of fights.
On his 13th birthday, in 1965, he received a guitar from his parents. It was a Japanese folk guitar but what he really wanted was an electric guitar. He was in a lot of bands in his youth. He met Gene when he was looking for a fill-in guitarist and someone recommended Stanley Eisen. He did not like him at all.
Some of the greatest songs he's written include "God of Thunder" from Destroyer, "Firehouse" from KISS, "C'mon and Love Me" from Dressed to Kill, "Black Diamond" from KISS, "Love Gun" from Love Gun, "I Stole Your Love" from Love Gun, "Hard Luck Woman" from Rock and Roll Over, and co-wrote the huge hard rock hit "Rock and Roll All Night" from Dressed to Kill with Gene Simmons.
Recently, Paul released a line of guitars with Silvertone Guitars. They are the Apocalypse, the Sorveign, and the Dark Star acoustic guitar. There is also a bass version of the Apocalypse. The Sorveign and Apocalypse are available in black and cracked mirror.
The Dark Star is black with Paul's face   behind the bridge. Paul is still with KISS to   this very day. The current KISS is touring and are about to release a compilation called KISS Gold.
