Jessica's family is very important to her.  She spent a lot of time with them when she was growing up.  Her younger sister Ashlee Simpson, is like her best friend.  She is also close to her mom.  When Jessica was growing up she loved to listen to music.

  Also, when she was younger she would sing in the shower if no one was listening.  One day her mom caught her in her room singing in front of the mirror.  Jessica and Ashlee would make music videos when her parents weren't home.

   Jessica and her friends would always hang out know matter if it was a school day or the week end.  They would go to the mall, go to the movies, or wherever they wanted to go.

   But as Jessica was starting her singing career her friends got jealous.  They were starting rumors about her and calling her names.  This made Jessica feel really  bad.  Then one day when she got home from a bad day at school she got a very depression phone call.

   Her aunt called her house and told Jessica that her cousin has died in a car crash.  Jessica was so sad.  Her cousin was her best friend.  She cried for days.

   After that had happened something great happened.  Jessica's Sweet Kisses album has hit a chart of most bought albums.  She was now happy again.

   Jessica had some hard times and some easy times but no matter what she got through them.
