Then tragically they broke up right before 9/11.  During 9/11 Nick was at the airport ready to get on an airplane and  go see his manager.  Jessica called him and said that she loved him and that  she didn't want him to get on that plane.  Then they got back together and soon got married.

      Jessica and Nick got married on October 29,2002 at the Riverbend Chapel in Austin Texas.  The people that were invited to the wedding was Jessica's family, Nick's family, and both of their closest friends. After they got married they bought a house in Los Angles.  Then they started a reality show called Newlyweds.

      In Newlyweds MTV cameras followed Nick and Jessica around for six months.  Jessica says that she loved the show but didn't like how she and Nick never really got any alone time. The show was a hit.  Everybody loved it.  During the show Jessica got the nickname the dumb blonde of Hollywood.  

      After the first season of Newlyweds Nick and Jessica started a variety show called the Nick and Jessica Variety Show.  In that show Jessica and Nick danced, sung songs, and acted out skits of other famous people.  Both shows were the most watched shows on MTV and ABC.

      Nick and Jessica try to live a normal life together.  But when they would go out to the store or just outside there are people starring at them and trying to get there pictures and autographs.  Nick says that he just wants a normal life.  Jessica says that she loves being married and living with Nick.
