The History of Epcot

       Epcot made its premiere in 1966 with its two showcases, Future World and World Showcase. the world showcase has eleven countries to explore and learn the wonders of the world. in the Future World examines ideas in science and technology in  ways that you never thought you would. it has as many neat and exciting rides, too.

 

 

 

  

 

Mission Space

     Epcot's newest attraction let's you blast off in space and become a pilot, navigator, engineer, or a captain in a space shuttle simulator. You have to get to mars by taking a gravity pole around the Moon and land safely to your destination on Mars! Each the navigator, engineer, captain, and pilot have their own specific job to get you safely to Mars.  Before it was open to the public astronauts rode the ride and said it was the closest thing you are going to get without leaving earth.

 

 

 

 

 

The World Showcase 

     The eleven countries have made their home here at Walt Disney just like their country, with their shops, restaurants, and attractions. they all give their own little flavor to Epcot that makes it such an interesting place to visit. The eleven countries around a lake larger than eighty-five football fields together. the eleven countries are Mexico, Norway, china, Germany, Italy, the American Adventure, Japan, morocco, France, United Kingdom, and Canada. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Test Track  

      Fasten your seatbelt , you are now a test dummy for GMC motors company! You go though seven regular car tests. The seven tests are extreme heat, extreme cold, bumpy surfaces, up a hill, tight turns with and with up brakes, around a track at 65 mph, and even a barrier crash test!

 

 

 
 

 

 

Honey, I Shrunk the Audience

      Professor Wayne Szalinski, the winner of the Inventor Of The Year Award,  shows up late and his son has to go show his inventions. We have to wear safety goggles (3-D glasses) to protect our eyes from the chemicals. while Wayne is showing his shrinking machine he accidentally aims it at the audience and the fuse blows so we are temporarily "small". We get back to normal size by the end of the show!  

 

 

 

 

 

The American Adventure

 

     Great Americans like Ben Franklin, Mark Twain explain the history of the America from Plymouth Rock to today in the show "the American Adventure". Their is a Heritage Manor Gift shop that is filled with everything form copies of important documents to tee-shirts to sweatshirts and everything else in the store is has American taste to it!
