Larry Bird is one of the best basketball players off all time. He grow up in a poor town in Indiana . In his youth he lived 17 different homes. He spent most of his time at his grandmas house because she lived across the street from a public basketball court. | |

when he was in college . He played soon to be NBA star at the time Magic
in the Johnson 1979 NCAA men basketball national
championship. Larry and his Hoosiers lost to Magic and his Michigan
State Spartans.

During the 1987 Eastern Conference Finals with under 5 seconds left in the game and the Detroit Pistons up . Larry stole an inbounds pass from Isaiah Thomas and took down court and laid it up for the winning shot. with that basket Larry and his Boston Celtics went on to win the Conference Finals. | |
