Chad Reed is last years supercross champ and is one of the world's top riders. Chad isn't from the US, he was born in Australia. He currently and always has rode for Yamaha. He challenged Carmichael in motocross for a little until Carmichael pulled away. Reed would have been challenged by Ricky but Carmichael got hurt in one of the first supercross races.
			Ricky Carmichael is the best motocross rider in the world. Last year he was able to win every moto in the season, going on to win another championship. Carmichael started his career on Kawasaki before moving to Honda in the 2002 season. Now, Carmichael rides for Suzuki and is currently leading in the points standing for this years supercross season.
			James "Bubba" Stewart is a new face on the motocross track. Many people think he is the next Ricky Carmichael. Bubba won the 125 supercross and motocross series'. Bubba rides the number 259 Kawasaki. He is now riding 250's and was doing well in his first season until recently breaking his arm.
			Rodney Smith isn't as well known as these other riders but certainly just as good if not better. Rodney races in the GNCC, Grand National Cross Country, series in which he has won many titles on his FMF Suzuki. He is 40 years old and is still last years champ. GNCC racing requires speed and endurance, a lot of endurance. You have to ride through the woods in difficult tight trails for 3 hours.
			Jason Raines is another popular GNCC rider. He is a young and up coming rider that nearly won the championship before he broke is leg at a race at WISP ski resort. Raines rides a Yamaha along with former champ Barry Hawk. Raines and Smith are usually seen battling for the win at the end of a race.
