The Ball - Your ball should be around 9 oz. and 25-17 inches in diameter. The ball should be5-6 lbs. when inflated. Wilson and Tachikara are some popular brands of balls just to name a few. In middle school player use a light weight ball. In beach volleyball player often use a ball that some what harder. In high school player use volley hards. To warm up team mates usually use balls that have more padding on them.
The court/net- Indoor courts are commonly made out of wood. Outdoor courts are filled with sand. The net is 31 feet  long and 3 feet wide.
Shoes- Professional  volleyball players have a shoes that have extra supports and cushions in them. Popular brands of shoes are Asics, Adias, Kaepa, and Mizup. Tennis shoes for non-professional player work also. Any tennis shoe that laces up in the front and are tightly secured to your feet.
Uniforms- Most teams have matching uniforms as most other team sports do. Women's teams most likely wear spandex shorts and silk jerseys with a collar. Other materials shorts come in are mesh and nylon. Men's teams wear mesh and nylon shirts also. Their shirt types vary.

Knee Pads- Knee pads help the players out when they dive or slide. These pads are used to bruise or damage the knee.

Braces-  Braces go on your ankles to protect them  to when the player go up to spike and block the ball.

Spankies- These are spandex shorts that girls wear when playing. the are very tight to wear the player slides they do not ride up they stay put where they are
