She started her singing when she was only five years old. She would sing at her mother and father’s piano bar. By the age of twelve, Celine had written her first song, “ Ce N’etait Qu’un Reve” [ It Was Only A Dream ]. |
| With the help of her mother and brother, Celine recorded “ Ce N’etait Qu’un Reve”. After the recording, they shipped the demo tape off to music producer, Rene Angelil. They found his name on the back of a popular francophone singer Ginette Reno. |  |
