The Orioles played their first game at Camden Yards on April 6, 1992.  The beautiful structure holds 48,876 people and their is room for standing.  The project started on June, 28 1989.  The field sits on 85 acres of land.  The stadium cost a little over 110 million dollars to be built. Babe Ruth was born and raised watching the Orioles.  Oriole Park is a state of the art stadium built like Forbes field in the 1900s.  The stadium has concrete trusses, an arched roof facade, and a sunroof over the dome, and natural grass turf.  Oriole park is only a few blocks away from the Inner Harbor.
