The Baseball Hall of Fame started out as a museum.  Built in 1939 in Cooperstown, New York. It has baseball souvenirs from all over the world and a library with every book ever written about the game.

Pitcher Sandy Koufax of the Brooklyn Dodgers shows his game-winning form. Sanford "Sandy" Koufax was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame 1972.

Women played in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League from 1943-1954.  A Display at the Baseball Hall of Fame shows famous women in baseball. In this painting, Babe Ruth points to the spot where his homerun ball will land in the 3rd game of the 1932 World Series.  Babe's real name was George Herman Ruth.
