Steelers were the first team to win four Super Bowls but are
still trying to get five or “one for the thumb” to tie the
San Francisco 49ers. The Steelers first Super Bowl appearance
was in Super Bowl IX against the Minnesota Vikings. The Steelers
went the following year to Super Bowl X against the Dallas
Cowboys back-to-back Super Bowl wins. They would face Dallas again in Super
Bowl XIII And return in XIV for their second back-to-back bowl
win against the L.A. Rams. The Super Bowl Steelers were
considered the team of the decade. |
