| Artistic gymnastics has been a part of the Olympics since the games began in 1896. Both men and women compete in artistic gymnastics. Rhythmic gymnastics has been a part of the Olympics since 1984. Only women are eligible to compete in rhythmic gymnastics. Trampoline gymnastics became an Olympic medal sport in the 2000 Sydney summer games. Both women and men are able to compete in trampoline gymnastics. | ||
