      This page is specifically for newcomers to the world of Nintendo. I want to first start of by saying that the number one quality of Nintendo is for me is the quality. For years Nintendo has surpassed all of its competitors by making games that are so in-depth and detailed. This company is the oldest and perhaps the vest video game console company still in business. For the people that don't follow Nintendo, the two main consoles it has right now are Game Boy Advance (GBA) and the Game Cube Nintendo (GCN).  The GCN is a system with pioneering graphics and versatile game play. It uses a Gecko processor giving it a smooth resolution and fast loading. The GBA is an excellent hand held system with some great games. Together, you can link the GBA and the GCN to get many bonus features (depending on what game you're playing).

     The GCN often is competing with the other two systems of this era. These two are commonly known as the Xbox (by Microsoft) and the PS2(by Sony). I believe that though these systems are unique, i believe that the GCN is the best in the most important categories. The first reason is the versatility. Not only can it connect to the GBA, it also can connect to the internet (via a broad band adapter) and to a new console coming soon from Nintendo (see The Future of Nintendo). Its compact shape and size, along with the handle makes the GCN easily portable. The second reason is the experience of the company Nintendo has been making games for the last two decades. It knows what its doing when it makes a quality game. Last and what I feel is the most important reason is the gaming quality. You can be sure that when you buy a game made by Nintendo that its top notch.

     There are many people that go in to creating video games, but Mr. Miyaymoto would perhaps be the most important. This former Nintendo Co. President created super star characters such as Mario Link, and many more. He formed what Nintendo is now. Mr. Iwata, the current president, has been planning in the future to make Nintendo even more popular than it is now. Together with Reggie-Fils Aimes (Chief marketing director) are working on some very pioneering steps for Nintendo.
