Dual Screens- this is the reason for its name. The DS features two back-lit screens that give a new look on gaming.
Wireless Connectivity- The new system will be able to locate others around it to link up to other players. Though there is a guaranteed reach of 30 ft, it can go much farther in optimized conditions.
Wifi Compatibility- The DS can link up to anyone in the worked with a system of its kind. How, you ask? By means of wifi link ups. You see, the minute you walk into an area that's wifi compatible, Star Bucks, for instance, you are automatically connected wirelessly. Another way to connect is by means of a wireless router.
Superior Graphics- The graphics for the DS exceeds the N64 and in my opinion, are just as good as the GCN.
Touch Screen- This system also features a screen that can be touch activated for the ultimate in hands on play.
Built in Microphone- The DS also includes a microphone for means of voice reactions. Imagine yourself telling your video games what to do. The possibilities are endless.
New Games- There are currently over 100 video game companies working on games and over 120 games in the process of designing right now. Some of the biggest ones include Nintendogs( not shown), The New Mario Bros. (2nd from the bottom left), Animal Crossing DS (2nd from the top left), Super Mario 64 x 4(2nd from the top right), and Metroid Prime Hunters (the bottom two on the right). It also includes Picto Chat (bottom left), A revolutionary video game that works as an instant messenger.
