| James Patrick Page was born on January 9, 1944 in Heston, England. He is still living today. When he was 13, he picked up a Spanish guitar and started to play it. His parents encouraged him to keep playing, so he did. At age 15, he toured with Neil Christian and the Crusaders for two years. He then became sick and was forced to quit. He enrolled in art college. That was his second passion. He was still doin session work, but that became too much for both. He chose music over art and dropped out. The Yardbirds recruited him and he agreed, but in 1968, They split up. He then formed Led Zeppelin and the rest was history. | |

| John Henry Bohnam was born on May 31, 1948 at Redditch, England. When he was young he banged on pots and pans, and at age 10, he recieved his first snare drum. At age 15, he received his first drum set. He married a girl named Pat at age 17. Jimmy Page and Robert Plant went to hear him play and sent 40 telegrams to get acceptance as the new drummer of Led Zeppelin. He died on September 25, 1980 in Windsor, England after a night of heavy drinking. | |

| Robert Anthony Plant was born on August 20, 1948 in West Bromwich, England. When he was 15, he quit school for music. He married Dana Wilson on November 9, 1968. They had three children. They had a daughter and two sons together. In late August 1968, Jimmy Page saw Robert sing at a teachers training college. Jimmy knew right away that he was the man for the job. | |

| John Baldwin was born on January 3, 1946 in Sidcup, England. He later switched his name to John Paul Jones. When he was 14 he picked up the bass guitar. His dad wanted him to play saxophone, but he decided otherwise. He dropped out of school at 17 and played in various bands. He had his own single titled Baja. He heard that Jimmy Page was forming a band, and his wife Mo, convinced him to apply. | |
