| There are Many things vampires have been known to do. And many things they cannot. With each tale this story changes in some way or another. |
*Sunlight* In many tales of vampirism, they are not able to touch or go near sunlight. In one case only the queen and king of all vampires have the privilege of walking amongst humans in the daylight. Only by drinking their blood may you obtain this power. Now if one of them were to enter the sunlight that would mean they either had a death wish, a new vampire and daring, or they were being sentenced to death for one of the major vampire crimes they have committed. If they touch the sunlight they instantaneously burn up, and become dust. |
*Fast Healing* Vampires are very fast healers unless they are drained of most of their blood. In one case they cannot even get scares. This boosts their ego just a bit. Making them very adventurous. |
*Disembodied and Fire* A vampire must never touch fire. Plain and simple. Ever though the flame of a candle might taunt them to do so, they cannot. They will die swiftly. If somehow one were to become decapitated, the would die immediately. |
*Hypnotic, Speedy, and Flying* Some of the thing many people wish they could do, or have had childhood dreams of accomplishing, vampires are usually portrayed to do. They are usually known as being extremely light weight, and able to, "Fly," around. Some stories disagree with this theory and say that we only think hey are flying because they are extremely fast. They are so fast that a normal human eye could not catch their movements. The one other ability they possess that most are said not to be all too proud of is their talent to hypnotize their victims. Most of the time they are said to use this ability only in dire situations. |

*Stakes, Crosses, Mirrors and Garlic* These are considered to be a little controversial among novelists. In some tales a vampire can not be near or touch a cross. But then again in some novels they may be quite fond of them, maybe even they have once entered a church. Then there are stakes. No, not the meat, a wooden stake, used to pound through the heart of a vampire. Not too common in most novels anymore, but one of the first tools when vampires were believed in to ward them away. A lot of stories claim that vampires had almost a deadly allergic reaction to garlic. this is also not always true. And finally in many cases, to spot a vampire, you can hold a mirror up to them. If there is no reflection they are a vampire, if there is they are obviously just a creepy mortal. seeing is how most people would not go up to a life-long friend thinking they were a vampire and hold a mirror up to them. this is also controversial. |
