What Kind there are

The two most common kinds of dolphins are the common dolphin and the bottle nosed dolphin. If you ever go to a dolphin show or just a plain old water show and there are dolphins, the dolphin would normal be a common dolphin, because the common dolphins are easier to train, but the bottle nosed dolphins are normally the ones that will follow your boat and that will eat out of your hands.

       Where do the dolphins live

Dolphins live all over, they live in cool, or warm, or tropical waters. Bottle nosed dolphins prefer the warmer tropical waters, but can live in cool waters. The common dolphins doesn't mind, they would live in cooler or warmer waters. Dolphins mainly stay out farther in the ocean, they don't normally come to the shore, but occasionally they will come closer to the shore where people can see them from a distance. Dolphins swim in deep and shallow waters, while in the ocean they will swim down far or bob up to the surface, but they will not go down to where there is no light. dolphins stay in groups most of the time, sometimes a few dolphins will travel by them self's but mainly they stay in groups.

What dolphins look like

Dolphins are one of the most beautiful creatures in the world. they have amazing longs body's with a long nose with and wonderful grayish color. Dolphins are just like us, they have a lot of the same organs that we do. Surprisingly dolphins have a hip bone, they have a hip just not one like we do, there's in more flat and not as wide as humans, so you can't really tell that they have a hip. They have liver, intestines, stomach, heart, tongue, teeth, jaw, esophagus, anus, kidney, skull, rib, brain, shoulder blade, lung, and backbone that all humans have. Some of the things that dolphins have that humans don't are, dorsal fin, blubber, fluke, flipper, melon, and a blowhole. As you can see, dolphins are like us humans in many ways, but they are also different, which make them their very own.

Diet

Dolphins eat lots of things such as, fish, squid, and crustecea. Dolphins eat a lot. When dolphins are on a trip they eat any chance that they get to. so that if there is a dry stop ( place where there is no food ) they still have food in them, form before.

Predators 

Dolphins don't really have predators, they are the main predators, but sharks eat dolphins sometimes. Maybe if their are dead or injured. Dolphins and sharks are very much of enemy's. They hate each other. many will get in fights with each other, but sharks are they main predators of the dolphin.
