Defense wins championships known by all who play and respect the the great game. But why do so many teams have none? Some who have won the game with a huge explosive offense. But they lose games when the get against a good running back or a ball control offense . Chiefs Who went 9-0 the longs undefeated team  Had the worst run defense they couldn't anyone but the problem was overshadowed by the outstanding offense but was exposed in the the last 6 games and the divisional playoff game against the   colts.  Dallas who had the best defense and personally thought the best coach who played to the game won 5 more games the year before. Seattle Defense Clicked and the began to win games. This year its a whole different story Teams with no defense are Losing! Colts losing cause their division is becoming diffusely dominate. The Chiefs started the year Started the year 0-3?????  The Steelers newly 9-1 have become a monster killer beating the last two undefeated teams in row never being done before the Steelers earn them a place in other the record books.  Pittsburgh is know being called the best team in the league which is  a lot different then last year were they had a terrible season at 6-10. The Steelers are playing amazing defense which is scoring points by it self, causing sacks and make turnovers.  When they played  the Eagles and the Patriots allowed under 100 rushing combined. Which makes them not have a lot of time of possession . The Steelers dominated  about 1-2 in the time battle.  The patriots win be the same measure o play. They have shut down corner in Ty Law and a huge pass rusher in Willie Migienest With that they are top 3 defenses in the league. The top five defense are the Steelers, Redskins, Patriots, Ravens, and the Eagles. Teams with all defense are not as good as you think, the Bucs and the Skins had some of the best defenses in the league bit they are both5-11 no offense mean minimal wins. Even the 2002 Bus had some offense in their wide  outs.
