guitar neck pic |
This is the guitar neck. This part of the guitar
is one of the most important parts of the guitar. The guitar neck is
normally made out of very good wood. The guitar neck is long and
slender. It has the metal bars on it called the frets. It also has the
strings over the top of it and at the very top it contains the tuners.
Without the neck, the guitar is nothing. |

guitar strings |
These are guitar strings. The strings is the
most important part. The strings are all different width's to give you
new sounds. There are normally 6 strings on a guitar but sometimes they
can come with more up to 12 strings. The guitar strings go from thick to
very thin. If you strum the string too hard, it can snap and possibly
hurt you. The strings are cords stretched over the neck. |

tuners |
These are tuners. They are made from metal. They
are what loosens or tightens the guitar string to get different pitches.
They can be either tuned to get a higher pitch or a lower tune. |

frets |
These are what frets look like. They are thin
metal bars that go vertically down the finger board of the guitar.
They are also used to determined by numbers. Anyway you strum the string
with a finger on a fret, you will get a different sound. |

pickup |
This is a pickup. Pickups are thicker bars on
the body of the guitar. They are always found on an electric guitar.
Guitars are mainly used from metal but on some acoustics they use
plastic or very rarely they use wood. The
use of a pickup is it converts sound from the strings to make electric
pulses. That's what gives the electric guitar they're amazing sound. |

body |
The body is the second most important part. The
body is what connects to the guitar and holds the strings in place. The
body is all solid and it's sound is relied on electric amplification.
Some people buy guitars because of their body's skills and brand name.
Most people buy guitars from the look of the guitar. Either way the body
still is the important part. |
