powerful serve. It puts the opponents under so much pressure. You
stand facing the net with one foot slightly in front of the other .
Then throw that ball up, bring your hand behind your shoulder then
swing powerfully and contact the ball with a firm hand . |

Jump severing is an over hand
sever where the person serving jumps up to hit or strike the ball
overhead when it is airborne. |

A dig is when you receiving
the ball from a an attack or a service. what you want to do is to let
the ball bounce neatly on your forearms so it travels high and curves so
the setter can set it to the spikier. |

Setting is when you play the ball
over your head . It is normally used to set up a spike but they all so
can send it all the way to the back court on the opposite side of the
net. |

spiking is the most powerful
thing beside the over hand severs. You want to smash the ball hard
on the opposite side of the net. You have to start behind the 10
ft line on the court for it to count for a point. |

Blocking is when you jump up to
block the other teams spike , or set to the back court. This is played
up at the net and any one at the net can do this skill. |

Dives are used to save a very
difficult ball. Its used when the ball is out of range of a dig
and a normal forearm pass. It involves diving for the volleyball to save
it from hitting the ground. |
