Every game has referees. They are the rule enforcers. Their job is to know all the penalties and throw flags when they have been committed. They also blow their whistles when the play is over and they rule the touchdowns and field goals. A touchdown is when a player gets in into the end zone at the other end of the field. A touchdown is worth six points. You also can go for a one point conversion which is a field goal or a two point conversion which is when you do a play from the five yard line. A field goal is when you kick the ball through the field goal posts. These are worth three points. The field goal posts are located the end line of the end zone. | ![]() |
