One of the greatest rock and roll bands in history, Aerosmith, went through tough times, but they ended up on top.  Joey Kramer, the band's drummer, came up with the name by mixing up letters in a game of scrabble.  With vocalist Steven Tyler, and lead guitarist, Joe Perry, Aerosmith considered two names... Songsmith or Aerospace.  They got lucky and mixed the names together and came out with, Aerosmith.  The bands' first music was a heavy rock in the late 70's.Soon drugs took their their toll, and the Perry-Tyler songwriting duo lost their knack of creating great tunes.  A little later in life, they became sober, and they shot back up to the top.  With Steven Tyler on the mike, Joe Perry thrasin' out solos, Joey Kramer, the super-rapid drummer, Brad Whitford, the rhythmic guitarist, and Todd Hamilton, on the bass.  Despite their drug problems in the past, Aerosmith is a well-known and loved rock group.  Performing at the Super Bowl, their greatest hits, Dream On, and Walk This Way, hit the top.  Everybody, in Aerosmith's words, need to Dream On!!!
