Ashlee Nicole Simpson was born on October 3,1984 in Dallas, Texas. She is currently the age of 20. She was born into the family of a mom, dad and an older sister named Jessica. Growing up Ashlee developed many intrests and did many activities. At the age of 11 she started dancing. She was dancing up untill she was 14 when her older sister Jessica 17 at the time landed a record deal with someone else. Then her and her family moved from Dallas, Texas to Los Angelous, Californina. When her sister Jessica would perform, Ahlee would be her sisters backup dancer. This was occuring for many years. When they moved there it only took Jessica a few months to get asked to play a part in the episode Malcom in the Middle. Her sister was also invited to come with her. The thing was that Jessica was good and all but she did not catch there eye as much as Ashlee did. The producers were so impressed that they called the directers of 7th heaven because they were looking for a new cast member. They then called Ashlee and next thing you know she is a full time cast member named Cecelia. She really loved her career but she wanted something more than that. A few years of doing that at the age of 18 she really missed her first love, and passion which was singing. Her first single was a song on the freaky friday sound track called Just let me cry. She was still not as happy as she could so after 3 years with the cast she decided to discontinue to persue her singing career. She went to many auditions but she ended up signing with Geffen records. Her dad is also her manager. As she was there she also signed to have her own reality show called the Ashlee Simpson show. Which is currently in its second season. the
