Did you know that lacrosse is the oldest sport in America?  In the Native American time, lacrosse wasn't played to have fun, it was played to heal the sick, or to resolve conflicts.  It was also played to develop strong men.  Back then, some tribes used a pole, a tree or maybe even a rock for a goal.  The lacrosse balls were made out of wood, deerskin, baked clay, or stone.  In 1636, was when the modern game began began.  The Very first college team was started in the year of 1877.
