Hot Rods are custom cars from the 1920's to the 1050's. These cars are bought as most people in the Hot Rodding say as a basket case. Which means is very poor and rusted condition with some of the parts missing. The builder has to plan a project like this before he can begin the process of rebuilding the car from the ground up. |

Most of these cars only use the original bodys and everything else is custom made or in most cases robbed from a newer model from the 1990's and made to fit into the cars you are building. | ![]() |

Jim Fountains 1929 Ford Vicky is a prime example how the past and the present can be put together to build a truly beautiful master piece or car. | ![]() |

Jim used, the corner stone of Street Rods Motors for his ride a 350 cubic inch Chevy motor from a 1980 corvette. The motor was rebuilt and fitted with drew Edel break carburetor a set of exhaust headers to give his car that sound of horse power. To drive the rear tires he used a 1978 Ford Maverick rear drive axle with a custom speed speked wheels from American Thrust Wheels. With this beautiful orange color and chrome I think Jim's car shows how you can blend something new to create a real work of art on wheels. | ![]() |
