Eminem, also known as Marshall Bruce Mathers III , is a popular rap artist in today's music. He wasn't introduced to hip-hop until he was about nine years old. The one who taught him about this style of music was his uncle Ronnie Polkinghorn. He moved very frequently from one house and school to another. It was hard for Eminem while he was growing up. He got bullied a lot at school, and he got beaten up too. |
| Marshall began skipping school and failing his classes so he had to repeat his freshman year. In his second year he fell in love. He had fallen in love with a young, pretty blond freshman named Kim Scott. Who he later in `95 had a beautiful baby girl with named Haile Jade Mathers. She moved in with Marshall at the age of 13. He had said she had nowhere else to go. She added lots of stress to his life, just always wanting his attention. He did even worse his second freshman year. On his third try he dropped out. After he dropped out his mother treated him as an adult. |  |

Slowly yet surely Eminem was being created. After he met Dr. Dre he started winning awards let and right. In 2003 he won two grammys for Best Rap Album "The Eminem Show". He also won for Best Form Music Video "Without Me". He won an Academy Award for his song "Lose Yourself". |
