The Pittsburgh Penguins have won two Stanley Cup Championships in the history of the team. Their two national championships were back-to-back in the years of 1991 and 1992. During this time, they had some great players and coaches. | |

Bringing the cup to Pittsburgh made everyone glad. But bringing it back the next year, made the city really rumble.
| During their first cup, the Penguins' coach was Bob Johnson. During their second, their coach was Scotty Bowman because during the off-season, Bob Johnson died. They also had many great players. Their goalie at the time was Tom Barrasso. Some of their great players included Mario Lemieux, Jaromir Jagr, Ron Francis, Kevin Stevens, Paul Coffey, Bryan Trottier, and Ulf Samuelsson. All of these players will most likely go into the Hall of Fame. |

They got a good coach and they were really starting to get good. Now they were having great seasons and their players were setting many records. Finally, after all of their hard work, they got what they wanted...... a Stanley Cup Championship! And then they did it again the next year.
