Angus Young is said to be one of the most energetic and wild performers (on stage and in the studio). Whether it's his patented duck walk, his schoolboy uniform, or his high voltage guitar skills, Angus is one of the greatest performers of all time.

It all started on March 31, 1955 when Angus McKinney Young was born in Glasgow, Scotland. Little did his parents know that Angus would grow up to be one of the greatest rock icons ever.
Angus's career in guitar and show buisness started at the young age of 6 when he would play Malclom's guitars. At age 9 his mother finally bought him a cheap little acoustic guitar which he loved playing.

By age 11 Angus had tried taking guitar lessons but he preferred learning on his own. Now, Angus was never much of a ideal school student. In fact, Angus hated school except for art in which he could freely express himself. But, Angus got to quit school at age 14.
After quitting school Angus started working at a "Men's Magazine", as a printer. Then when he was 15 he quit his job and started playing in the band permanently. By then Angus had acquired a Gibson SG. This is the guitar that Angus has been using since. Whenever Angus needs a new guitar due to his excessive sweating. shown on the picture on the right, Angus tries to get the exact same model, to get the same tone.

By the time AC/DC had recorded 16 full albums Angus is still rockin' on his guitar. Now he is somewhere in a cabin with his wife Ellen.
In this picture Angus is seen in their concert in Turin, Italy.

This is the band now, as you can see the bass player has nice gray hair.
