The Lion King is ranked as a
supreme as animation's greatest crowning achievement. Set among the
majestic beauty of the scenery, Disney's epic coming -of- age saga tells
of the love between a proud lion ruler Mufasa and his son -Simba a
naive curious cub who "Just Can't Wait to be King". But,
out of the darkness, Simba's envious uncle Scar and his hyena henchman.
Their scheming for the throne leads to trouble later. SImba was forced to
leave, and was befriend by a Meercat and a Warthog. Rafiki, a wise and mystic
baboon, help Simba reclaim his true destiny as king?

To the left, is a picture of Simba. He is
the main character of the movie. HE is an adventurous little cub, like
many small children, but his curiosity takes him too far. He is very
loved, but when something happens, he is made to believe that no one loves
him. He was forced to flee...but that was not the end of Simba yet! |

This is Simba's best friend of all time. Her name
is Nala, she is to be married to Simba, to be the future king. She is
always in Simba's schemes, and she misses him terribly when he leaves. She
is very glad when she finds him and brings him back to help all the other
lions.

This is Scar. He killed his brother so Simba
would look guilty. He wanted to SImba to be out of his way so that he can
be crowned king. When his full grown nephew came back, he was
killed. |

This is the King. His name is
Mufasa. He is a proud father, and a loyal family member and loved by many.
In the movie, he is killed by his evil brother because Simba was next in
line to be king instead of him. |

To the right, this is Zazu. He is the
King's secretary and looks out for everything. He pretty much knows
everything going on at all time because he can fly and watch all. He waits
on the King hand and foot and is a great friend. He also watches over
Simba. |

To the left, this is Rafiki. He is a
"magical" monkey. IN the beginning he "baptizes" SImba
and later he found SImba and brought him back to help the other lions back
at Pride Rock. |

This is an extremely
friendly warthog
named Pumbaa. He and his best friend Timon take Simba under his wing to be
their protector when he fled Pride Rock. They taught him how to eat in
the wild and also what "Hakuna Matata". They were great friends.
This is Timon. He is the meerkat. He is really long and obnoxious but
everyone loves him anyways. |

After Simba and Nala went back to Pride
Rock, and Simba fought his evil uncle, the drought ended, they started a
new family and Simba was king and Nala was queen and everything was okay
and everything started over again. |
