This is the main character of the story - Belle. She loves to read. She will read anything that has a good stories and has a huge collection of books in her house. She was well known in her village because of her father. He is a merchant and an inventor. Most of the guys in the town chase after her for her love. 

 This is a picture of Maurice. He is Belle's father. He is a town merchant who is very creative. He takes a lot of pride in his inventions, and hates when something doesn't work. 

These two characters featured here to the left are Cogsworth and Lumiere. To the farthest left is Cogsworth, he is a talking clock that is stuck in this position. The talking candlestick is Lumiere. They were servants in the castle when the spell was cast over it. These two are stuck in that state of being until the spell broken. 

This is a picture of the Beast. He was a handsome prince but was put under a spell. He must find true love to lift the spell. He is very unhappy and lonely. Belle sees through his out side appearance to his inside, and becomes his friend. 

This is one of the silly townsmen that falls in love with Belle. He is conceited loud man who thinks Belle is pretty and he thinks he is the best person for her to marry. He proposes to her and she says no. 

This is the rose that symbolizes the Beasts life. When and if all the petals come off, he will come to an end as well. He kept it well protected until Belle found it and it started to die. It is almost like a timer of how long he has to find someone he loves .
