| Bob Marley was born on May 6th, 1945 he was born in a place called Nine Mile. To a woman named Cadella a seventeen year old poor farmers daughter, and a man named Norval Marley a member of the British Navy. When they had Bob in that time it was not right for a black and white marriage. So Norval was forced to leave. Before he left he begged Cadella to let him with him and put him in a good school. Six years later Cadella found Bob in one of Jamaica's biggest cities. |

Nine Mile is the place where Bob Marley was born and raised. Nine Mile is a peaceful stretch of land where everything is natural. No running water, no electricity nothing. There is a reservoir at the south end of this land. The reservoir collects rain water from the sky. | |
| After Cadella found Bob. She had to work two jobs to take care of him. Bob tried his hand at welding at age 12 he did it for about two years. He was half decent but he just knew that welding was not his thing. In his early years Bob knew nothing else was his thing but music. | ![]() |
