
The 1964.5 Mustang II followed a mid-range 2 seater powered by a V4 engine (The Mustang I). To make the the Mustang affordable it needed to share much of its engineering with an already existing Ford Falcon.

In it's 2nd year of production it got its famous fastback body evolving quickly into the Muscle Cars of the 70's. It also got much more publicity than even Henry Ford himself could have thought of .
