There are many different types of paintball markers to choose from. From high-end to beginner, from pump to custom. Markers can range from $60 to almost $2000. There are so many choices. For example, someone new to the sport should not go out and buy a very expensive marker. buying a marker is entirely up to you. Just choose wisely, personally I would not buy a very cheap marker by a company no one has ever heard of, but that’s just me. These are just a few to choose from.

The WDP Angel Speed is a very high-end marker. Averaging 30+ bps (balls per second), has anti-chop technology and is light weight and accurate.

The Smart Parts Shocker ’03 weighs 1 pound 14 ounces, 20 bps and comes with a 2-piece all-American barrel. It also has a vision eye that prevents paintballs from getting stuck in the breech.

These are two high-end markers. Both are modified Smart-Parts Impulse guns. The Rat Impulse boasts a 14-inch Smart Parts Freak barrel; max-flow regulator and an optional low-pressure regulator.

The Kingman Spyder Fenix is an electric marker that has a LCD screen tells firing mode, time left in game, balls fired and three modes of fire.

This is the marker I have. The Tipmann 98 Custom. It is a very dependable marker. While it is a bit tough to clean, and only semi-automatic I have had no problems.
