This is an example of a back-walk-over. You can do this skill on beam and floor. To do this you need to first start with your leg extended in front of you with your toe barely touching the ground. You then arch your back like your doing a bridge. When your hands hit the ground you need to push your bottom leg off the ground. You should pass through the handstand position with your legs in a 180 degree split. You then stand up straight or in a lounge position. | |

| This is a back-handspring. A back-handspring is still a basic skill but it is more advanced. Back-handsprings are done on beam and floor. To do a back-handspring, also known as a flic-flac, you first start with your arms above your head. You then swing them down and squat like your sitting in a chair. You then push out of your legs and jump up and back. As you do this you have to straighten your arms by your head. You then have to put your hands on the ground, extend through your shoulders (make sure your in a handstand position), and push yourself up to a standing position. You can either land with your legs split or together. | ||
