Baseball began in Cooperstown, New York in the 1890's, it obviously it made its way to the south were the oil workers made it a way to kill time in the south. Baseball is played everywhere around the world from deep allies in Japan to Yankee Stadium. Baseball demands a lot of hand-eye coordination with the swing of the bat to the catch of the ball.

    Baseball is played between April and October. The teams must play 180 a season than times that by 30 teams that is 5400 games a year. The baseball player usually come from the states that are warm or countries that are warm year round.

      Baseball consist of 9 players, a pitcher, catcher, first base, second base,  third base, short stop, left field, center field, right field. The men officiating the game are called umpires and most likely they have played baseball at one time or have been studying the game for a long time. At  a regular season game there're 4 umpires but for the playoffs and World Series there are six of them one behind the plate, behind first base, one deep right field, one at second base, one at third, one in deep left field
