Around 1966, a very new band came to life. This band was The Doors. The Doors really opened all 'doors' for future musicians and created a whole new way to play. Not to mention that Jim really put a meaning to the term 'sex, drugs, and rock 'n roll'. Although Jim died at a very young age of 27 in 1971, of what most people at first thought as heart failure due to drug and alcohol ingestion - but later found that it was a heroin overdose - The Doors will always be remember as one of the outrageous and creative bands of their time.
