(SYSTEM OF A DOWN)
System of a down is an Armenian based band which actually started out a Victems of a down from a poem that Serj read then they later changed the name to Sysetm of a down. Serj Tankian, John Dolmayan, Shavo Odadjain and Daron Malakian bonded quickly as friends but they all also shared the Armenian ancestry and mutual disdain for percived limitations. Daron says "we started this band to show people that not everything has been done before." In late 2000 the guys set about crafting and swrawling blitzkrieg of sounds that invited and even wider array of influence and experimentation to the table. The bands drummer Shavo Odadjian says "its time for the bands these kidsare lisening to deliver something deeper than lets just party."
