The March of Dimes is an organization that raises money for premature babies. A premature baby or premi, is a baby who is born before the normal 9 months of pregnancy are complete. Some reasons that premature babies are born include infections, smoking, and poor diet. the March of Dimes helps premature babies by collecting donations, having walks with people who collect money from sponsors, and having people volunteer. The volunteers do work around the office like recruiting help and helping run the fundraisers be a success. They also participate in the events and make donations. The March of Dimes has saved many babies lives. |

The March of Dimes organization also helps the mothers of the babies to see doctors and receive the care that their babies need. Many premature babies are at high risks of developing diseases and birth defects. This organization provides money so the doctors can help with early detection of such diseases. |
