Furthering advancements in Taekwondo training allows for weapons, another key component of Martial Arts.  There are many different weapons, but for purpose of knowledge we'll stick to four.  All of these weapons were a part of every Korean house-hold, so when it came time to fight, these were the weapons of choice.

The ssahng-Jeol Bahng is on of the two basic weapons.  Of testing mid-terms, there is a nine-count, single, and double forms.  Also known as the "num-chuck", the ssahng-Jeol Bahng was originally used to thrash wheat.
The Bahng Mahng EE is the other basic weapon.  It has a nine-count, single and double forms, and a self-defense.  Like the ssahng-Jeol Bahng, it also has an odd beginning: the original iron.
The first of the more advanced weapons is the Jahng Bahng.  There are only a nine count and a single form for this weapon, as a double would be suicide.  The name Jahng bahng literally means "Big Stick", as they can range from five to seven feet tall.

Finally the Sahm Dan Bong, or three sectioned staff.  Once  again, there are only a nine-count and form for this weapon.  On closer inspection, one may notice that this is actually three Bahng Moahng EEs chained together.  This weapon is a lot of fun to use, but has an even bigger range than the Jahng Bahng.
