	Poker is a game for people with luck and the skill to bluff. Poker is not as complicated as one might think. On this page I will teach you how to play two different types of Poker.
To play Poker, you need three things: a deck of cards, a dealer, and friends. The two most important skills in the game of Poker are to have luck and to know how to bluff. If you have all these skills and materials, you are ready to play Poker.
Deal five cards to each player. Then, after the players have looked at their cards, the players can trade up to three cards for newer better cards. If the person has an Ace in their hand, they may change four cards and keep the Ace. A person can challenge them to show their Ace and if you are lying, you are out of the round. These are a few hands that you could have.
	This is an example of a hand with an Ace. If no one playing has any other hand and has just cards, then this hand would win. This doesn't usually win the game.
This is an example of a hand with a pair in it. This hand wins over a hand with nothing or a hand with Ace.
	This is an example of a hand with two pairs. It beats the hands above.
This hand has an example of a three of a kind. This beats two pairs and one pair.
	This is an example of a hand that has a small straight. A small straight has four cards of the same suit in a row. The higher the straight is, the better chance of winning. This equals a five card straight without the same suit. This beats the examples above.
This is an example of a flush. A flush is any five cards of the same suit. This beats a small straight, one or two pair, and a three of a kind.
	This hand is an example of a full house. A full house is when there is three of a kind and a pair in the same hand. This beats the others on the list so far.
This is an example of a hand with a four of a kind. That means you have all of the one type of card, for example all the twos. This beats everything but a five card straight with the same suit.
	This hand beats anything, unless someone has a higher straight. This is an example of a straight with the same suit.
These are the different kind of hands you can have. Poker can also be a form of gambling. If you do choose to gamble, you bet right before you show your cards to the other players.
Another kind of Poker is called Texas Hold 'Em. This game is a fun way of playing Poker. Each person gets two cards, and they have to keep these cards. There are wilds in this game. All the twos are wild, a one- eyed jack is wild, and a king with an ax is wild. You can change the wilds to your pleasing, though. Then the dealer sets down the cards in this way.
	This is the set up used in the game.
First he puts down one card face down. The he goes to the other side and places three cards face up so that you can see them. Then he puts another card face down on the other one and put another in the row of the face up cards. Then repeat the last step so that five cards are showing and three are flipped upside down. Everyone can use the five cards on the table and their own two cards to figure out what hand they want from above.
