The dealer gives everyone two cards, one face up for everyone to see and one for the player to see, and they look at their cards. They decide how many points they have compared to how many they want.

Start from the left of the dealer. The player asks for another card by saying "hit me" if they want to chance going over the limit. The person then is handed a card that everyone can see. The limit is set at twenty one, because then you can have blackjack with a face card and an Ace. The dealer then gives the person as many cards as they want. 

This is one way to get 21. You don't have to get it in two cards. 

When you go over, you automatically lose. 

The dealer has to get at least sixteen points to stop "hitting.

When you have over five cards and have not gone over, you win against anything but a Blackjack.

This is a Blackjack hand. You do not ever hit on this hand because you won!

All face cards, a king, queen jack, and a ten are 10 pts and Aces are either a one or an eleven,it is up to your other cards. The rest are the amount of pts. it says on the card. For example, a nine is nine pts. An Ace and a face card or a ten equal Black jack and you automatically win.

The person with the closest amount of points to 21 without going over is the winner. You are really only playing against the dealer though, so you aren't competing with the other players' cards. If their is a tie in between the dealer and another person at twenty- one or any number, the person who got it in less cards wins. If they have the same cards, they go another round between them.

To get Blackjack, you have to receive a 10 pt card and an Ace. This hand automatically wins unless someone else has Blackjack. In this case, the higher 10 pt. card wins. If you have the same card, you re- deal to the people with the same hand.
