It is the middies job to move the ball up and down the field.  All though they do need to bring the ball down the field that is not all they do Middies can shoot the ball also.
on the field at one time there are three Middies playing. There the ones who take the faceoff.

Lacrosse is a great sport but it would be totally different without middies.
	There are many great midfielders or middies in this great game of Lacrosse in fact some of the best player have been middies.
here is a pro lacrosse league called  the mll or major league lacrosse. Most player only play in college because the pros do not get paid much at all.

	Middies are the only players to play both offence and defense.
Middies are also the only players that can go on both sides of the feild.
	Middies also have a smaller shaft of there stick than defense and goalies but it is the same size as attack. These kind of sticks are offensive stick and only the attack and middies should use them.
Middies have to be the one's in better shape then the others. they have to cover a lot more of the field. So that means that middies run way more tan anyone else on the team
