| Cancun, Mexico, as well as
many other cities are located on the Yucatan Peninsula. The Yucatan
is the southernmost area in Mexico and is very well known for is vacation
places. The Yucatan Peninsula is also known for its ancient
civilizations and traditions from the Mayan cultures. |

The climate in southern
Mexico varies throughout the seasons. They have a yearly temperature
between 24'C and 28'C. The winter temperatures are only about 5'

| In and around the city of
Cancun there are many natural, historical and man made wonders to
enjoy. You could arrive in the city early one morning and enjoy a
beautiful sunrise on an empty beach. |

After enjoying that relaxing
moment, you can begin a hike along the hills of Mexico. There you
will see an amazing collection of views throughout the whole journey until
you reach your destination of the beautiful ruins of the Mayan empire. |
| The most popular in
the area is most likely the temple called Chichen Itza. There you
can climb to the top of a beautiful stone temple covered with carvings,
pictures, artifacts and so much more. |

A you tire
yourself out taking a long set of stairs to the top of the temple, you
will be able to look forward to a quiet jeep ride to a wonderful
snorkeling area along the reefs. |
| There you could have a look at the
tremendous variety of colorful, active fish and coral which will be a
cooling, refreshing activity after your long hike. |

If you don't
enjoy snorkeling, you could enjoy a wonderful adventure with a group of
dolphins at the aquariums. With all of this to do, Cancun and the
surrounding areas are such a wonderful, incredible place to visit. |
